Situation
Many studies have shown a sharp decline in musical activity in secondary schools over the last few years, and especially since the pandemic. Since 2010 there has been a 40% decline in Arts GCSE entries (source: Cultural Learning Alliance). Schools are under pressure. Sadly, the creative arts is the first thing to go. We believe - and countless studies have shown - this damages young people.
Solution
We bring 40 years of high quality music making around the globe. We are committed to teaching, involving, coaching, encouraging and empowering young singers - many with little or no choral experience to join our us in performance of some of the greatest classical music written. Our programmes have multiple entry points for new young singers to more experienced choirs. Our aim is to reach 30,000 young singers over the next five years.
