Situation
Food production is the single greatest impact humans have on the planet. For years, our leaders have let corporate greed ravage our food system, putting profit over people and nature. Now we face soaring inequality and malnutrition, ultra-processed foods harming our health, and the use of food banks becoming the norm. Climate change and extreme weather threaten our food security. We need a radical transformation of our food system, from farm to fork, and it’s our mission to make that happen.
Solution
We work at the intersection between community and policy to radically transform food systems. By working directly with communities and civil society partners in the UK and beyond, we catalyse action to increase fair and secure access to sustainable food. We conduct groundbreaking research and campaigns to expose systemic issues and build momentum to demand changes to policy and business practice. We envision alternative food systems that are rooted in justice, equity and nature recovery.
