Clubs (3child/6adult) welcome people with learning disabilities (LD) and neurodivergence. GE for young adults is a social club bringing fun to those who need support to access a social life. We are passionate about preventing social isolation for people with LD in the three counties we serve.

Our disabled club members, many of whom live on modest incomes/benefits, could never afford the support we provide to access social opportunities if we didn’t heavily subsidise club costs. We maintain low fees ensuring accessibility, so fundraise to provide these vital opportunities for joy and companionship. Challenges such as LD, ND, and complex needs are met with appropriate accommodations ensuring that people have fun, make friends and benefit from the wellbeing effects of community
Solution
Our 9 well-attended clubs for people with LD and neurodivergence are popular; many are full. We provide a safe and supported place for fun and friendship because we recognise that everyone deserves the growth, wellbeing and personal development that comes from friendship and community. Being supported by and in turn supporting your friends and community is part of what makes us human. We will run 9 weekly clubs + trips +holidays to bring joy to those who face the challenges of LD.
