Basic hygiene is a necessity, not a privilege. It is unacceptable that feeling clean should be a luxury for anyone in our society. However, many individuals are living in poverty and cannot afford the essential items needed to maintain cleanliness. The cost-of-living crisis and the lingering effects of the pandemic have led to a significant increase in poverty in the UK. As a result, more people are facing difficult choices between heating their homes, paying rent, eating, or staying clean.

The Multibank brings together local and national businesses, with charities and public sector professionals to support vulnerable people and families in a given area who are in real need. Despite this, we see no signs of slowing down as demand for our services is greater than ever before. In order to meet this need and eradicate poverty, it is imperative that we sustainably scale our organisation. Monies raised will be used to scale up the project throughout Greater Manchester.
