Homelessness is rising sharply with around 170,000 homeless/vulnerably housed people in London (Shelter, 2022). Recent CHAIN database figures (July 2023) showed 10,053 people were recorded rough sleeping in London in 2022/23, a 21% increase on the previous year. Statistics also show 6,391 people were recorded as sleeping rough for the first time, a 26% annual increase. Complicating matters: 35% had more than one support need around drugs, alcohol or mental health. 29% had spent time in prison.

We support homeless people to get off, and stay off the streets by helping them to: -Access accommodation and understand their entitlements. -Access essential health services e.g., GP appointments, vaccinations, dental care and others. -Reduce/manage their substance use. -Improve their mental health and deal with trauma. -Access food, showers and basic hygiene essentials. -Access learning, training and employability support to enable independent, stable and secure lives away from the streets.
