Imagine your child or loved one has received a life-changing diagnosis of TSC, or you’re living with TSC and need to speak to someone about managing the complex difficulties of the condition. There’s no cure for TSC, and few have heard of this lifelong condition. Often, health professionals lack the knowledge and expertise to effectively support people, resulting in a lack of quality care and emotional support for those affected, leading to significant feelings of isolation, stress and anxiety.
Solution
The TSA provides vital support and a listening ear through our support and information services for the TSC community across the UK. Our TSA Support Line, website, social media, webinars, and face to face events provide a lifeline for people affected by TSC, reducing feelings of isolation, stress and anxiety. This support is driven directly by those affected by TSC with the aim of bringing the TSC community together to have a voice and feel empowered to advocate for the best quality of care.
