For young people from lower socioeconomic backgrounds, moving up the social ladder and achieving better education and jobs than their parents is harder now than at any point in the last 50 years. The long term impact of the pandemic and rising cost of living are making it harder to access opportunities in education and careers and build essential confidence, knowledge and networks. Young people are not getting a fair chance to achieve their potential.

Our programmes build confidence, knowledge and networks and offer life changing opportunities. We offer work experience with top employers, skills and careers workshops, university visits and application help, and mentoring from trained volunteers. Students who take part build understanding of their options and how to achieve their goals, and are more likely to access and succeed in higher education and highly skilled careers.
