Due to changing needs in service requirements and increasing demand, we need to extend the services we offer to include family support and bereavement services for families and young people when someone close to them is living with a life-limiting illness, and after bereavement.

    Our teams have identified an increased need to ensure we support more families and young people that we come into contact with who are facing loss and bereavement. This could be at Queenscourt Hospice, in hospital, in care homes or in their own homes.

    To develop the Family Support and Bereavement Services for families and young people that we come into contact with by focussing on Children’s Support Services, Carer’s Support Services, Bereavement Support Services. We aspire to support more families and young people during such a challenging time and be there for them to ensure they have the support they need.
