When a child is diagnosed with cancer, their whole family’s world is turned upside down. They become faced with an uncertain future, overwhelming information, increased costs and immense worry. Often, one or both parents need to stop work and live in hospital whilst the other parent remains at home to take care of siblings. Whilst the medical teams take care of their medical needs, often these families become very isolated, short of money and have no one to turn to for help.

We believe no family should fight childhood cancer alone. Our service improves families’ experiences of cancer treatment, reduces isolation, anxiety and financial stress, and enables families to spend more time creating precious memories. We offer emotional, practical and financial support to every family affected across the three counties and provide new diagnosis support packs, home and hospital visits, bereavement support, school liaison and family focused events.
