Situation
Following a recent appearance on BBC Breakfast, we were overwhelmed by the response from viewers living with migraine, many of whom are desperate for help. Many cite the devastating impact of migraine on mental health: loneliness, anxiety and depression are frequently mentioned. People tell us their social lives, relationships and careers are impacted by migraine. We've identified workplace as a key area of focus, with employers having a role in supporting staff with migraine to thrive.
Solution
Roll-out our workplace pledge and deliver training sessions to employers to educate them on migraine and equip them to better support staff. We will work with as many organisations as possible to spread awareness and improve the working experience for people with migraine, delivering tailored and bespoke sessions to benefit approx. 1,000 employees. We will also reach over 600 individuals through our Managing Your Migraine events addressing topics like mental health, isolation and anxiety.
