More than 110 million people are displaced across the world, with children totalling almost half of the world's refugees. Access to education is drastically falling short of what they deserve. There is an urgent need for them to access a world-class education to help them become future leaders of their communities. We will offer full scholarships to refugee and displaced students to access much needed schooling at UWC Atlantic.
We hope to raise enough funds to support scholarships for refugee and displaced children to join our community in September 2025. The college is committed to responding to regional conflict crises. As a world leading pre-university college and a founding member of an international education movement – the United World Colleges, it is uniquely placed to respond quickly to ensure the world’s most promising youth are not hindered by conflict and war and receive the education they deserve.
