The Government have begun detaining individuals for the purpose of removing them to Rwanda. The last time they did this, BID had a 100% success rate at getting them out. We hope to do the same again but need help. We are in desperate need of donations towards interpreter fees. All of the individuals we are supporting so far require interpreters and we are preparing for demand to increase.

We are receiving calls from detained people who are understandably panicked, terrified and confused. Easy access to high quality interpreters is vital to ensure people understand their situation, rights and the legal steps we are taking to try and secure their release. From being served a Notice of Intent of Removal to Rwanda people have just seven days to respond. Our team are therefore under extreme time pressure to do rapid legal work and cannot rely on volunteer interpreters.
