Our goal is to tackle malnutrition by supporting women and girls to be the change that is needed in the communities that they live. Through dedicated health clinics, training and development programs we work with women to address the root causes of hunger and malnutrition.

Situation
Malnutrition is one of the biggest contributors to the cycle of chronic hunger. It causes lifelong developmental, social and economic impacts. It increases health care costs, reduces productivity, and slows economic growth, which can perpetuate a cycle of poverty and hunger. Women and children, particularly those living with poverty, are most vulnerable to malnutrition. Girls are oftenfed last and least, and mothers often eat only after the rest of their family is fed.
Solution
By amplifying women’s and girls leadership, we will see community and country level transformation by: Women and girls being active citizens (heard; respected; not only voting, but on the ballot) Women and girls participating in public spaces (without fear of being sexually assaulted or intimidated) Women and girls participating in public and organisational dialogues Women and girls using their agency and voice to influence decisions that affect their hunger
