Exploitation can affect any child, any where, at any time, of any age and from any background. Derbyshire has a heightened vulnerability with several wards falling into the top 10% most deprived in the country Our demand has increased year on year with 55% of the children and young people we supported in 2023 identified as female, 38% had SEND or a disability or were awaiting diagnosis and 33% who gave details did not identify as White British. 80% of our work had an online element.

Our support services for girls include; intensive one-to-one and group support with specialist workers for children and families, youth work, transition and participation activities to include life skills, sport, music and art, a girls group to build self-esteem and confidence, training and awareness, outreach engagement in the community, therapy and art therapy and collaborative working with partners, parents and young people to learn from and shape best practice and research.
