We run 17 online peer support groups where people meet regularly over Zoom, build lasting friendships with others who truly understand and support one another through their MS journey. Whether coming to terms with diagnosis, caring for a loved one or unable to leave home, there is a pod for everyone

70% of the MS community experience loneliness and isolation post-diagnosis. These emotions are not just fleeting, but powerful forces, causing a higher risk of depression, low self-esteem, sleep problems and stress – all of which can further impact on their physical health and mental wellbeing. Our community have told us they need more opportunities to connect with like-minded people going through similar experiences so they can learn from one another and create lasting friendships.

Through our Peer Support service, people with MS connect online in groups facilitated by trained volunteers living with the condition. These Peer Pods offer a platform for individuals from all corners of the country to come together regularly, sharing experiences, providing support, and fostering lasting bonds in a safe space. Crucially, by meeting virtually, barriers like transportation and accessibility are eliminated, allowing members to conserve energy for other activities.
