There are 1 million young women in England and Wales struggling on low or no pay. This is why we are working to address the income gap. Young are more likely to be in low paid work, face discrimination and barriers to progression. A young woman will earn a fifth less each year than a young man. Our research shows 50% of young women have faced discrimination at work, up from 42% from 2022, and almost a quarter of young women are being paid less than men, despite this being illegal.

We support thousands of young women each year to raise incomes, job satisfaction and future prospects by delivering solution focused coaching and personalised, detailed feedback on job applications, enabling young women to enact change in the shortest possible time. Services are remote and flexible with young women signing up for all elements or just one. Evidence shows our interventions lead to increased confidence, motivation and knowledge, often resulting in young women securing new jobs.
