A free weekly 2 hour facilitated peer support combined with nature wellbeing session in urban garden spaces in Bristol. Enables people to talk about mental health and build a community, share nature-based skills and crafts, grow plants, food and learn from each other.

Situation
Social isolation of people experiencing mental health issues. Disconnection with nature often due to lack of access to green spaces in the city. People experiencing mental health difficulties who struggle to attend indoor groups and have become isolated because of their mental health difficulties such as anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, social anxiety, PTSD.
Solution
Improves mental and physical wellbeing, spending time in nature has a stress reducing and restorative influence. The combination of being able to share mental health experiences and challenging feelings with others and learning new skills whilst caring for the environment grows confidence, builds trust and connections with others. Empowers people to nurture and sustain themselves and the environment.
