We support and empower children growing up in deprivation. Using sports as a vehicle, we deliver sports based coaching and mentoring sessions, involving coaches, parents, teachers, schools and the community to build a team for life, empowering and inspiring our young people to succeed.

Growing up in poverty takes away opportunities young people have to take part in extracurricular activities and threatens their education. Government funded youth services – services accessed by those from poorer areas – have had funding cut by more than 70% in the last 10 years. Without these activities children miss out on the positive outcomes that are linked to exercise and mentoring, including: improved mental and physical health, better results in schools, and development of social skills

We place full-time sports coaches and mentors in schools to run sessions wrapped around the school day, as well as on weekends and over holidays. Our coaches use sports as a vehicle to provide key support for young people growing up in areas of deprivation and give them opportunities which they would otherwise not of had. Through Greenhouse Sports, children are able to access high quality coaching and mentoring, increasing their life skills, school attendance and mental wellbeing.
