The families we support are at risk of crisis and lack engagement with services and support elsewhere, risking critical care gaps for their children, leaving them vulnerable to poor social, academic and economic outcomes later in life. Our supported children are predominantly from financially vulnerable homes, lacking secure environments, nutritious food, green spaces, and learning opportunities. Born during lockdown, they've also missed vital socialisation and play, impacting school readiness.

Our trained volunteers and staff provide practical support, devising plans, securing essentials and signposting to resources. Emotional support helps families deal with financial pressures, fostering a more settled environment for children. 64% of families were better able to manage the household budget after our support. Our group activities strengthen parent-child bonds, promoting play and development. These safe spaces enable families to interact with others, helping alleviate isolation.
