    Situation

We work with young people growing up in the most disadvantaged communities in London, where almost a third of children live in poverty. Many have experienced education exclusion, arrest, social services or the care system. When young people first come to us, they are often bereft of aspiration, opportunity and belief. We understand that it is easy for young people in our community to find themselves on the wrong path and, with your support, we can help them change direction.

    Solution

With their key worker each young person on the project will create a personal development plan, enabling them to set their own goals and address barriers to achieving them. Tailored to the individual, goals could include: reducing offending, access training, move into employment, do better at school, improve mental or physical health. wherever young people want to be, our dedicated key workers will help them to get there: empowering and treating young people like individuals.
