At least 90% of participants across our youth service are marginalised (Black and Global Majority backgrounds, low-income families, have special educational needs and disability). The daily obstacles they encounter lead to a crisis of confidence, limiting beliefs and a feeling of hopelessness. BP helps overcome issues like entrenched youth unemployment disproportionately affecting BGM individuals; disparities of diversity in creative industries; and social exclusion among the most vulnerable.

BP pays young creatives for commissioned work - producing ground-breaking film and music videos. Our experienced team is representative of our beneficiary group so they can be role models. This helps them build aspirations and self-belief, while developing skills using industry standard equipment, and making vital links with in-industry contacts/having access to resources and peer/staff support- building them up to confidently platform their voices and achieve their goals.
