Support us to provide therapeutic support for working-class young people on our programmes across Greater Manchester. If we want working-class young people to create and lead change, we need to remove as many barriers as possible.

Since the pandemic we as an organisation have seen a huge increase in our young people needing support for their mental health. Currently waiting lists are higher than ever in professional services. It can be 6 months before a young person gets to talk to a trained professional. Therapy is a valuable resource to all young people but the opportunity to access it is drastically reduced when working class, they often can't get the support at the time they need it.

At RECLAIM we know our Working Class young people rely on free services for counselling/therapy which can often take too long. Last years Kind 2 Mind funds for therapy have already run out, with demand from young people growing. We will be asking for donations towards a therapy / counselling session with a professional for our young people.
