We are trying to reduce the impact of climate change and other negative environmental impacts in North East Essex by helping the local community to lead more sustainable lives. We need the local population to think about the environmental issues and adopt practices that minimise their negative impact. We need to make the options easy for them to adopt locally. We need the whole population to be involved and not just those interested in environmental issues.

The past 2 Eco Festivals have attracted over 4500 visitors each year and now attracts over 90 stalls. A range of stalls from local environment groups, councils and local businesses offer environmentally friendly products and services covering all areas of the environment and will offer advice to help visitors to lead more sustainable lives. We need to attract the general public. We do this by making it a FREE family day out, including a babyzone and childrens tent and entertainment on the stage
