The children we support have suffered sexual abuse, been exploited online, witnessed domestic violence or lost a loved one to homicide. Serious crimes which have robbed them of their self-confidence and self-esteem and changed the path of their lives. We know that if these children receive caring support at an early stage they can build resilience, learn coping strategies to reduce anxiety and go on to recover, but there is limited help available with long waiting lists.

We prioritise children and families who have been harmed by crime and are experiencing poverty. Children are referred by professionals, such as police or school or can be referred by their family. Support is delivered by video or phone call and support is put in place quickly and provides the specialist help children need, when they need it. This support helps children to understand and manage their thoughts and feelings, keeping them safe and building resilience, confidence and self-esteem.
