The climate emergency is a human-made catastrophe. Already, millions of people and animals have died and livelihoods have been destroyed. Life on Earth is threatened if we don’t act now. Power, greed and vested interests prevent leaders from urgently taking action. Instead leaders and lobbyists actively invest in spreading disinformation and “denialism”. Those that sound the alarm are vilified and increasingly prosecuted. People deserve to know the truth, so that all life on Earth lives on.
Solution
XRUK will implement comprehensive marketing and fundraising strategies to grow the movement in more diverse and representative ways. More people will attend workshops, events, peaceful protests and community assemblies. Together, we’ll pressure leaders to put lives before profits and implement green solutions by galvanising 3.5% of the UK to support urgent policy change. Achieving this tipping point will amplify the truth and generate mass awareness of the climate and ecological emergencies.
