We are raising funds to expand our programmes into London. We will deliver weekly physical activity sessions and wellbeing journals, to improve the lives of people experiencing mental health issues, in a supportive environment, in order to support people of all ages, genders and fitness levels.

The prevalence of common mental health disorders for over 16s is higher in Brent than London and England. Our pilot has supported over 120 adults (in a year) with conditions from anxiety, depression, bipolar, Schizophrenia and low mood. Self-harm and hospital admissions for mental health conditions in Brent for U18s are higher than the London average. The situation is similar in Harrow. There is a need for alternative mental health services as traditional services struggle to cope with demand.

In order to address this we will run weekly adult (17+) and youth sessions, 2 in Harrow and 5 in Brent and provide all participants with a wellbeing journal. Sessions are one hour long and a mix of yoga, badminton, table tennis and Youth multi sport and games.People can be referred via NHS/CAMHS or self refer. Our service helps improve mental health, build confidence and self-esteem, support people to get out of their homes to meet others in similar situations and help them to get active.
