Deforestation threatens us all. And it's happening at an alarming rate. Natural disasters like floods and droughts are worsening. Environmental degradation is pushing countless species towards extinction. And the wellbeing, food and water security of millions of people are at risk. But it's not too late. We can harness the power of trees to protect our future. By planting more trees with local communities, we can safeguard our planet for generations to come.
Solution
When communities are put at the heart of tree planting, landscapes and lives are transformed for the better. Through our incubator programme, we’re building up and training new and small community-based organisations to plant more trees. We’ll work with them to plant trees and improve livelihoods. And provide training, resources and advice to grow their tree planting. We’ll help them become established and effective environmental stewards who will plant and protect trees for future generations.
