Raw sewage and plastic pollution is pouring into our rivers and coast. Yet we’re still seeing funding cuts, government inaction, policy delays and corporations profiting from ecological vandalism. People and planet are suffering. Sewage is making us sick, with life-threatening and sometimes lifelong illness. It’s destroying ecosystems and livelihoods. This election year provides a unique opportunity to drive systemic change against all that threatens the ocean – and we need to grasp it.

There’s an unprecedented opportunity to protect the ocean. Sewage is high on the public and political agenda, and we need to ramp the pressure up. We’ll equip communities to drive change, with digital tools and citizen science. We’ll expose the evidence and impact of sewage discharges and plastic pollution. We’ll influence decision-makers and ensure they’re taking action. We’ll mobilise, champion and educate – from the beachfront to the front benches. And we won’t stop until the ocean thrives.
