Climate change, pollution & biodiversity loss are being experienced on a local level. The impact on local habitats and human health in local communities have led to an increase in queries to The Environment Centre for more information and advice around local environmental issues, to provide support to individuals and groups and work with them to find green solutions. It’s clear that people know they need to take action, and care about environmental issues, but don’t always know where to start.

We will tackle causes to community concerns leading to positive outcomes for individuals & the environment. We will engage and involve people in taking action on themes of circular economy, enhancing green spaces and biodiversity, and improving skills through opportunities to learn and participate. Our action will support individuals’ needs to develop, encourages community cohesion, brings together local groups and provides opportunities that support the wider well-being and environmental agenda
