Our Street, the Lewisham Urban Opera, is a show that has been written, composed & designed by residents of Lewisham of all ages, in collaboration with top professional artists working with our charity, Music and Theatre for All, & the wonderful composer/lyricist Gwyneth Herbert

We successfully applied for an Arts Council grant of £53k for Our Street, part of the conditions for which we need to raise a further £20k to bring the project fully to fruition & present the show as the participant/creators envisage it for the benefit & pride of the community of Lewisham
Solution
We are launching a crowdfunding campaign to raise the final funds needed to put this amazing show where it belongs: in the heart of Lewisham for everyone to see, enjoy & share in. As a medium-sized national charity approaching its 10th anniversary year, we are embedded in the local community, where we have built strong partnerships in particular over the last three years, improving life chances, working with all ages, developing confidence, reducing isolation, & encouraging a sense of belonging.
