We are seeking much needed unrestricted funding to support our initiative of providing arts engagement opportunities to rural communities in Aberdeenshire. Our goal is to support individuals, particularly those vulnerable to isolation and offer them access to various forms of creative participation.

The problem being solved by the Barn is the isolation of communities in Aberdeenshire due to the rural nature of the area. This problem can be exacerbated by challenging driving conditions, extreme weather, and limited access to arts and culture. The Barn, as a community-facing organization, aims to bring people together through creative experiences and provide affordable access to the arts to combat this isolation.
The Barn aims to solve this problem by offering a range of programmes and projects that promote community engagement and cultural participation. The Barn creates a vibrant and inclusive arts community in Aberdeenshire, where people feel connected, inspired, and supported. We provide opportunities for arts participation, education which foster a sense of belonging and cultural enrichment.
