Home-Start Clackmannanshire and Reachout with Arts in Mind would like to raise funds to provide accessible expressive arts classes and ongoing Reachout memberships to local families, building their creativity, confidence, and social interaction.

Situation
For many of the families we work with, the goal is to just get through the day: it is difficult to have time/energy/resources to engage in anything but the essentials of meal times, school drop off/pick up, work, appointments, bed time etc. There is very little room for fun, including getting creative together. There is also often a hesitation to do such activities, with their inner dialogue telling them "you can't do this".
Solution
Together, Home-Start Clackmannanshire and Reachout will bring families the opportunity to engage in bespoke creative experiences. We will provide access to sessions specifically for parents/carers though our wellbeing groups (offer of membership to enjoy a full year of access to sessions) and also to wider families through our School holiday programmes. Materials used will be mindful of what families will have around the house, so they build confidence to try out further activities at home.
