This campaign has now closed

We are raising money to continue our important work with schools in our disadvantaged locality. Our workshops support academic achievement, emotional & social development & improved well-being. Many children would not engage with the arts otherwise. "I could not believe the impact!" (Teacher)

    Situation

Children in our local communities face intersectional issues (inc poverty, racial inequity, language barriers & high rates of mental illness) that often lead to unrealised potential & poor well-being. This presents as disengagement, lack of emotional control, vulnerability to local county lines activity, academic underachievement, self-harming, lack of aspirations etc.

    Solution

We have more than twenty years’ experience using drama as a means to benefit participants holistically. Our workshops with schools have been shown to improve outcomes stunted by challenging circumstances, eg supporting academic achievement and language development, and addressing social, behavioural and emotional challenges. “I value the work you do so so much!” (Headteacher)
