The arts can move, inspire and connect us. We understand the power of the arts to help people of all ages and backgrounds. By participating in our creative activities programme, we aim to build new connections across Forth Valley and empower people to share their unique stories in creative ways.

Situation
Across our communities, we have seen economic uncertainty and surging costs of living become key factors in an increase in poor mental health and wellbeing, social isolation and disconnect between community members. This is especially true for more vulnerable groups like the elderly, those living in areas of high deprivation, and those living with a disability. Declining investment in local areas has resulted in a lack of available activity, with many areas and people feeling neglected.
Solution
We plan to increase our outreach and remove financial/accessibility barriers to ensure that we involve more people from at-risk communities throughout Forth Valley. We also plan to have more collaborative projects inviting community input and participation in our yearly Festivals and Exhibition. Cultivating local talent from all walks of life not only helps individuals increase their confidence and skill set, and ensures their voices are heard, but reinforces community spirit and relationships.
