Many children and youth in Greenwich Borough grow up in low-income households and are more likely to face mental health issues, poor physical health, low sense of well-being and other social issues. Almost a third of neighbourhoods in Greenwich are amongst the 20% most deprived in England and as a result may be less likely to have access to dance and other cultural activities.

By collaborating with local schools and youth organisations we will offer free dance-related activities that tackle these challenges and improve young people's lives through enhancing resilience, body confidence, self-expression, communication skills, cultural awareness, physical fitness, well-being, and mental health. Some of these activities include Afro-Cuban Rumba, Contemporary, Salsa, visits to our dance centre in Woolwich to watch rehearsals, musicality workshops, and more!
