    Situation

There is a chronic lack of access to the spark of inspiration that music can offer children in ways that boost their creativity, attainment & confidence across the curriculum at primary level. This is due to a systemic lack of funding. ISM reports a 68% reduction in music provision in UK primaries, & 50% schools cannot offer instrumental lessons. Where music departments remain, 61% of music teachers reported insufficient budget to support music.

    Solution

Our long-standing partnerships with local schools, including Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND) schools, and Music Hubs ensure activities are accessible, engaging and relevant to the curriculum. We offer additional training and resources to enable children to benefit throughout the academic year. Orchestra Unwrapped is delivered by a dedicated team of professionals who receive training to deliver creative workshops for specific ages, needs and levels.
