    Situation

The mental health of young people is in crisis. Amid the continuing impacts of the global pandemic, cultural shifts, and international political and environmental instability; youth mental health challenges are accelerating to record levels and negatively impacting young lives at crucial moments of transition. Young people who are already at risk of or are experiencing marginalisation are disproportionately affected: this crisis is intensifying need and exacerbating inequalities.

    Solution

Creative participation has proven outcomes for mental health but currently only 20% of young people report engaging with the arts to improve wellbeing. We enable young people to take part in Acting and Backstage Theatre Courses that build their core & practical skills in performance or working behind the scenes. Our courses. They will also improve the social & emotional skills they need to collaborate and become active members of their communities.
