Situation
We know that arts and culture can have a huge, meaningful impact on lives - whether through improving mental health, decreasing loneliness, or providing the disadvantaged with access to fantastic arts experiences and opportunities. We’d like to continue our work to increase the opportunities for everyone in our community to take part in creative activities.
Solution
Last year’s family festival at Farnham Maltings was a huge success and welcomed over 1000 people from families across our community. The day gave everyone an opportunity to experience and participate in creative pursuits either for free or at a very low cost. We would like to bring back the family festival for 2024 and make it bigger and better to welcome more families and make it an experience that will have a lasting impact. We need your help to raise £5,000 which will then be match funded to £10,000 thanks to the Big Give. With your donation, we will be able to offer free entry to the festival and deliver a broad programme of creative workshops and activities for children and their families to enjoy together.
