Climate change is the defining issue of our lifetime impacting on our current way of life and the future of our planet. However there is always something happening in the world that pushes climate change in the short-term down the agenda. Huge worldwide and day-to-day issues that distract us from the urgency of the challenge and thinking about what we can do about it in the here and now. But how we live and work locally can have an impact and that’s the problem we want to work on together.

We are supporting and adopting a locally focused approach to climate change. Working on projects relating to active travel, local energy, repair/reuse as well as growing local food, we can build our own community resilience, use our collective ideas, experience and skills to make change, come up with solutions and take action. We can think big but act small, lowering carbon footprints together, encouraging more people to think, make changes and feel positive about the future.
