While Islington is a diverse & vibrant borough, it is the 6th most deprived in London & one of the most unequal places to live in the UK. Poverty, disability & mental illness rates are high – including the highest level of depression recorded in London. Through Trilogy, we remove barriers to the arts to support some of our most vulnerable neighbours as the socio-economic crisis continues. We target our older community, people with disabilities & those impacted by homelessness & poverty.

Trilogy works in partnership with local charities to recruit people who face barriers to the arts. We also host workshops across Islington to recruit a wider community company of all ages & backgrounds. Across 8-months, we will bring these groups together with artists to create a joyous community production. Trilogy is free with food/travel & tailored access provisions. Through sustained support & collaboration, we increase wellbeing, connection & build ongoing relationships with participants.
