People’s History Museum needs your support to help us reach more young people. Our free museum explores the radical stories of people coming together to champion ideas worth fighting for; from workers rights to rights for disabled people. PHM helps people discover their power to make change.

“Every school in the country should have access to this important and empowering collection". In the current climate it is easy to feel overwhelmed and powerless. PHM reminds people that change is not linear, we are all together in the fight for a fairer world. These vital funds will help us to bring this hope to future generations.“A visit to @PHMMcr always reminds me why I fight the fights I fight. No matter how loud your voice. It counts. It's how loud we are collectively that brings change."

Our learning and family programmes support young people to build their understanding of how change can be achieved, and the ways that they can affect it. Using creative, interactive and immersive experiences we will empower young people to take inspiration from the past to make a change for the future. A teacher at a recent session told us it helped young people to find ‘The significance of their own voice. Respect for others – how to communicate our passions effectively.’
