We are raising funds for our work for isolated & vulnerable families with young children in rural & deprived urban areas of southwest England. Your support will provide free musical-play sessions in community spaces that enables children's language, social and emotional development.

Situation
The early years (0-5) are widely recognised as a crucial time for children when the foundations for their educational attainment, long-term health & wellbeing and employment prospects are laid down. Despite this understanding an increasing number of young children are reaching the age of 5 without achieving developmental milestones & many are struggling to adapt to new situations, regulate their emotions, communicate with carers, peers and spending more time in sedentary activities.
Solution
Evolve Music's programme of free child-led musical play activities that happen in community spaces in areas of greatest need addresses this problem. We use proven methods to facilitate the development of children's language, social and emotional skills through music and provide a support network for isolated parents and carers. We also work alongside parents, carers and educators to grow their understanding of the development benefits of child-led musical play.
