    Situation

Since its inception, Music@Malling has placed outreach at the heart of its activities recognising the enormous benefits the arts can bring to people of all ages and backgrounds: identifying the lack of opportunities for participation and engagement in West Malling and its surrounding towns and villages. Our concerts and outreach are integrated and help build a sense of community, inspire creativity and fire the imagination. Our outreach is differentiated and free to be fully inclusive.

    Solution

Music@Malling has a three year plan for outreach and concerts which promotes creativity, inclusion and participation with clearly defined aims, outputs and progressions. Music@Malling enables people of all age groups to have access to outstanding musicians, ensembles and composers; to listen to world-class concerts and interact with creative workshops, talks, rehearsals and concerts. The activities are differentiated to appeal to different age groups and abilities.
