Too many 18-25s experience oppression & disempowerment. Those who experience multiple disadvantages continue to occupy fewer leadership positions, have lower self-esteem & reduced life chances. Many have lived experiences of mental illness, neuro-divergence, the care and youth justice systems or homelessness. They are impacted by structural racism & overlooked by traditional support schemes. YTM ensures that young people play a direct, active role in making decisions to develop their future.

YTM provides 18-25s with training, personal development & leadership opportunities within the arts sector. We provide a safe space for young people to create original theatre about issues & systems that disempower young people including racism, mental ill-health, crime, unhealthy relationships & money. The theatre is interactive, dynamic, original & provocative. Devising & touring their show supports improved social & emotional wellbeing & the development of transferrable skills for life & work.
