St Bride Foundation is the home of print and type design on Fleet Street. Our library, print workshop and events bring together communities with a shared passion for print and design. This funding will support us to continue to be a thriving educational and cultural foundation.

Situation
The arts are facing the loss of spaces for communities to meet, learn and thrive. It is therefore vital to secure accessible hubs such as our Foundation where school pupils, students, researchers, early career professionals and anyone with a love of print can access unique resources, form connections and showcase contemporary output. With letterpress printing recently listed on Heritage Craft’s Red List of Endangered Crafts, our role as the UK’s home of print is ever more vital.
Solution
We will futureproof our collections and our purpose as the United Kingdom’s home of print and graphic design, providing a welcoming and affordable avenue for the public and print and design communities to easily access, network and understand this important area of our heritage.
