Writing West Midlands runs creative writing activities for children and adults across the region. To allow everyone to participate we want to offer more free places. To do this we are setting up a Writing for Everyone fund.

Situation
The cost of living crisis means that more and more children and adults are requesting free places for our programmes of creative writing events and activities across the West Midlands. We need to build a fund so that we can help everyone who needs a free place.
Solution
We will build a fund to allow us to give free places to any child or adult in the West Midlands who would like to engage with our work. This includes places on our Spark Young Writers Groups, tickets to our Birmingham Literature Festival events and access to our specialist training for emerging writers, particularly those who are marginalised for various reasons.
