Farnham Youth Choir has been delivering choral excellence for 40 years. We are a family of choirs that supports children to achieve extraordinary things through a shared love of singing. The last couple of years have been challenging and many of our families have struggled financially. Our bursary scheme ensures that all talented young people who may not otherwise be able to access this level of music education can join our choirs.

Through this appeal we hope to replenish FYC's bursary scheme which currently has funds for another 12 months only. The scheme pays up to 100% of fees, depending on household income, and supports with uniform costs, concert tickets and transport. We want the immense benefits of singing in a choir (including social skills, nurturing others, a sense of belonging, promotion of health and wellbeing - and more) to be afforded to all sections of the youth community in Farnham and surrounding area.
