Coventry struggles with socioeconomic factors associated with poor wellbeing - high levels of deprivation, education gaps, and unemployment. Through sustained community engagement since 2018 and periodic research, we have identified five major needs of our members: breaking down barriers to arts access; fostering community; reducing isolation; supporting mental wellbeing; and developing skills.

Programme of Creative Workshops: Our theatre activities are unique in Coventry. Few other consistent, skills-building creative initiatives exist locally for people facing severe exclusion and isolation. We fill a critical gap left by cuts eg, closure of Crisis Coventry. We support excluded groups facing severe inequalities disproportionately impacted by issues like homelessness, mental ill health, illiteracy, and poverty. Many arts/mainstream programmes don't provide needed trauma-informed care.
