Ongoing consultation with the Harbour Project has revealed that for many of the female refugees & asylum seeker they support, wellbeing is a key concern. In addition to the economic challenges female refugees & asylum seekers face, as well as the language barriers they encounter, they are often primary care givers & therefore severely isolated, overburdened & lacking in confidence. Feedback from our pilot project demonstrated the need & considerable value in building a network for these women.

Utilising drama exercises, we'll create a space for women to play & connect with others to the level that they feel comfortable with, even when they don’t share the same language, building their confidence &, crucially, bringing joy & laughter into the space. Our pilot project demonstrates the impact we can have: 76% of participants reported an improved mood "Thank you very much. This activity is helpful for us. Sometimes we need enjoy, funny time. In this way we can escape our problem"
