Children with SEND are often isolated and excluded with limited access to enrichment activities due to financial and geographical barriers and cuts in provision. Post-Covid many are not attending school with limited access to social interaction. Many such families (often with parents/more than one child with SEND) need respite and support with engaging their children and for themselves. Public negative attitudes are often further barriers to children's communication, confidence and well-being.

Music Treehouse offers inclusive, child-centred weekly sessions led by an experienced professional team of artist facilitators for SEND children to enjoy using music as a tool, through sensory play & puppets (2-5yrs), songs, movement, storytelling (6-11yrs), instrumental composition and improvisation (11+) with 1:1 music therapy for those not able to join a group. It also offers respite and social network support to parents, transport to those in need and opportunities to engage as a community.
